From Zanzibar we headed off to Arusha where we traded in the big yellow truck for a couple of safari vehicles! We packed our tents and headed into lake Manyara the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti national park. At lake Manyara we saw a number of different monkeys and bird species as well as hyppos, elephants, giraffes and our favorite, the dwarf mongoose!
