Essaouira

After Marrakech we headed to the ocean front city of Essaouira. The first night here we bush camped and had some cows come for a visit. The second night the truck pulled into a campsite and the "upgrade buddies" decided to head into town to find a nice place to stay! In the end, we ended up in the Samara hotel with a view over the water. The hotel was cheap, and had a beautiful view off of the rooftop terrace. Good value, but not the Sheraton if you know what I mean! Over the two days we spent here, I went shopping for more funny pants, had an excellent chicken tagine and enjoyed the scenery over beverages! The sunset was spectacular! I especially like the picture where you can see the sunset out of the window of the room!
