The truck family had an excellent Christmas day in Bamako at the Sleeping Camel! We ate all day! We roasted a pig on a spit and then carved him up! I didn't know if I would be able to eat the meat after seeing the poor little guy gutted and roasted but he was actually pretty tasty! We also did a secret Santa exchange and I got a nice moroccan lantern! The best part of the day was the naniamo bars that my fellow Canadians whipped up! That little touch from home was just amazing.
