Uganda- Jinja

From Kampala we headed to Jinja for a three night stay. There were many activities on offer, booze cruises, speed boating, white water rafting etc. I chose to head into the village to find a tailor. I had two dresses and a skirt made out of the African fabrics I have been buying along the way. While we were waiting to give the lady our measurements Emma painted little fingernails! All of my things turned out well but will need slight alterations when I get home. One evening a local lady named Fatia came and helped us cook a traditional Ugandan dinner. She made mashed plantains, sweet potato and a spicy meat dish. The food was excellent as was the experience cooking it!
