In Gabon, we visited Lope national park, and Libreville. The national park had stunning scenic views but I chose not to do any game drives here. I'm waiting until we get further down to the better known parks! Libreville is a vibrant and modern city with a huge expat community. Here, we saw our first real supermarket ( like superstore) since Abuja and we all stocked up on toiletries and snacks for the road. But for me, the highlight of Gabon was crossing the equator! That's right folks... I've made it to the southern hemisphere!
